Somewhere to record meetings and scheduled calls: a customer meeting, a planned call, a site visit.
What does not appear here
This is the most important thing about the page. The calendar shows only its own events. These do not appear:
- Task deadlines — tasks have no calendar of their own and are seen in the task list.
- Booking appointments — the bookings module keeps its own calendar and its own data.
If you expect one view of everything, this is not that view. An empty calendar does not mean nothing is happening — only that no event was recorded here.
Delete is really cancel
Deleting an event does not remove it; it sets the status to cancelled, and cancelled events are left out of the view.
So the event vanishes from the calendar while the record stays. That is deliberate: a cancelled meeting is itself something that happened, and erasing it would change the history.
Every event can point at someone
An event can be attached to a contact and to a colleague, and the view can be filtered by either. To see one person's schedule, set the colleague filter — a shorter list then means a filter is on, not that events were deleted.
Month and week views
The calendar is drawn using the site's own default calendar system. On a Jalali site the months and days are Jalali and the week starts on Saturday.
An all-day event carries no time and is shown at the top of its day.
